Basic principle

Technology EcoTre System is characterized by substantial change in production technology in such way that wooden mass is formed into pellets in two cylinder-shaped moulds, moving against each other. Output product is hereby extruded towards mould core.

Modification of technological procedure of pelletizing results in removal of wood drying phase prior to pelletizing and of cooling phase of finished pellets after pelletizing. Inertia force of rotating moulds and special mould surface treatment is used for reaching of required pellet hardness and decreasing of production power demand. In case of presses with higher performance, machines are equipped with additional pinch rollers. This results in decreasing of production power demand to one half compared with traditional methods.


This modification results in simplification of traditional five-phase pelletizing process, consisting of the following phases:
1. accumulation and preparation of raw material
2. drying of raw material
3. pelletizing process
4. cooling of finished products
5. packing and storage


EcoTre System consists only of three phases:

1. accumulation and preparation of raw material
2. pelletizing process
3. packing and storage


EcoTre System simplifies and significantly cheapens production.
EcoTre System can process input raw material with humidity content up to 36%.
EcoTre System guarantees improved parameters of produced pellets.



Description of technological assembly

Production line consists of input material modification plant, pelletizing line, screener and packing line for finished products. Input material is sucked into crusher and transported into storage bin by turbine. From storage bin, material is transported on conveyor into stone / metal separator, where stone and metal pieces are removed. Treated mixture then proceeds into hammer crusher, where it is processed to fine mixture. Treated mixture is conveyed into main storage bin, where humidity is corrected, if necessary.

Mixture then proceeds into pelletizing machine for pelletization. Output from pelletizing machine – finished products, proceeding into sorter of finished products, serving for separation of dust and small fractures, which return in form of basic raw material into main storage bin before pelletizing line after treatment.

Finished products proceeds via transporter and air cleaner into packing line. Products are packed either into plastic sacks or into “big-bags”. Packed products proceeds into finished products storehouse.

Line is dimensioned for 800 – 1400kg of finished products / hour at input material humidity ranging from 15 to 36%.
